AT&T Wireless has announced an aggressive offer which will eliminate cellular roaming charges for many of its customers. This offer is made possible because of the companys doubling of its national GSM coverage area in the past year, which is now approximately 1.2 million square miles in the United States. During the past year AT&T has has improved and/or added 15,000 cell sites. Major improvements have also been made in its GSM network, according to AT&T Wireless, in a recent news release
